OP-V Capabilities

A rugged SUV (such as a GM Hummer, Suburban, or Yukon XL) integrated with best-in-breed technologies, OP-Vs enable users to:

• Set up local and wide area networks within minutes of arriving on scene
• Equip disparate agencies with interoperable voice, video, data, and radio communications capabilities
• Ensure satellite reach-back with redundant systems (Ku-band and BGAN)
• Deliver accurate, timely situation reports to key personnel for remote and on-site decision-making
• Send and receive critical information to and from multiple incident scenes, emergency operations centers, and other mission-critical locations.
• Track resources, sensor data, and responder presence/health in real time
• Bridge mobile radios, cell/satellite/land-line/VoIP phones into multiple talk groups
• Remotely control radio bridge while monitoring/recording talk group traffic
• Ensure no single point of failure for interoperability with redundant bridges (digital and analog)
• Capture and stream on-scene video, including in low light, to remote personnel
• Conduct real-time video conferences while inside or outside the vehicle
